ABOUT: Headmirror’s ENT in a Nutshell is a free podcast production that provides high-yield clinical review in succinct, yet comprehensive 20- to 40-minute episodes that can be accessed anytime and anywhere. Information is presented by topic experts from various institutions using a structured format that incorporates a final summary and question-set at the conclusion of each podcast to reinforce key concepts. This production is designed with the busy otolaryngology resident in mind; however, with inclusion of fundamental principles to advanced concepts, ENT in a Nutshell offers a robust resource for asynchronous learning that also appeals to interested medical students, fellows, early attendings, as well as mid- to later-career physicians. We are very interested in hearing from you. If there are any topics you think would be helpful to include in a future podcast, please let us know by sending us a note here. We encourage the listener to also view our ENT Video Surgical Atlas, providing a complementary resource featuring key surgical procedures.

While this podcast project was initiated in February 2020, content creation has been accelerated to address the heightened need for educational platforms that support distance learning amidst the COVID-19 pandemic. We hope that this project provides a beneficial resource during this unique chapter in medical education.
