Water from the Ear

Question: A 28 year old otherwise healthy woman is involved in a car accident and sustains an otic-capsule sparing right temporal bone fracture.  Two days in to her hospitalization, the nursing staff notices constant but slow right sided clear otorrhea.  Examination reveals a perforation in the TM with fluid emanating from the middle ear space.  A sample is sent for beta-2 transferrin testing, which returns positive.  What is the likelihood that this resolves spontaneously?

a) 5%
b) 30%
c) 60%
d) 90%
