Comprehensive upper airway exam was performed using a flexible fiberoptic scope under topical anesthesia. The _____ naris was anesthetized using phenylephrine with lidocaine nasal spray.  The endoscope was passed gently along in the inferior border of the nose.  _____ nasal cavity was unremarkable.  Nasopharynx and oropharynx were non-erythematous and without mass or lesion.  Base of tongue, vallecula, epiglottis, pyriform sinuses, and aryepiglottic folds are all within normal limits.  Vocal cords are symmetrically mobile with full range of motion.  No nodules on the vocal cords.  No signs of reflux disease.
